Achievements: Entered Starfleet Academy with degree in xenobiology from University of Ekaris; Student instructor, Starfleet Academy, 2368-71; Ph.D in xenobiology, 2371
Served midshipman assignment in 2368 with Federation science team on Ktaria VII, studying dynamics of Ktarian jungle ecosystem.
Upon graduation from Academy, assigned to U.S.S. Voyager as a sciences specialist. Presumed lost on Voyager's first mission to the Badlands to pursue a Maquis vessel, when Starfleet lost contact with ship on stardate 48307.5. Voyager was actually swept to the Delta Quadrant by alien technology; recently, contact was briefly re-established with the ship, providing the following information.
Upon death of ship's senior scientist, Wildman became head of Voyager xenobiology department. In 2372, on stardate 48921.3, Wildman served on bridge as xenobiological expert when the ship encountered a swarm of spaceborne life-forms that tried to mate with the ship, mistaking it for one of their own species.
Wildman, soon after this mission, discovered she was pregnant with her husband's child. Due to prolonged gestation period of Human-Ktarian hybrid fetus, she did not give birth until stardate 49548. At that time, Voyager was trapped in a spatial scission, resulting in a duplicate Voyager and crew. On one Voyager, Wildman's infant daughter died of complications from hypocythemia, but the duplicate child did not suffer complications, and was delivered in full health to Wildman's custody shortly before the duplicate ship was destroyed. This is the first known Federation child to be born in the Delta Quadrant.
